Onboarding portal for new corporate clients in the energy sector
A drilling services company in Vaca Muerta needed to integrate 40 new engineers into its industrial safety training program. The manual process of registration, module assignment, and tracking took up to two weeks and generated data entry errors. The Yaklearn platform was to replace that flow with an automated onboarding portal.
A three-step flow was designed: engineer registration with credential validation, automatic module assignment based on role (drilling, maintenance, supervision), and activation of the learning plan with expiration dates. The portal connected with the Y.A.K. engine to record each user's knowledge baseline.
A registration form was developed with sector-specific fields (professional license, work area, experience level). The course assignment logic was configured using rules defined by the client. A dashboard was integrated for the HR team to view the status of each onboarding in real time. The pilot lasted four weeks with a group of 12 engineers.
The client shared an internal report detailing the reduction in administrative hours and the improvement in training traceability. An incident log was also generated during implementation, which served to adjust the assignment rules before the full deployment.
